Our Story
Our story began with a daughter named Meta Rose. She was co-owner of a unique women and children clothing store called Rio Boutique. Her dream was to use her interior design skills to create an atmosphere that enabled women and children to reach the ultimate of their inner beauty. To Meta, beauty was both external and internal. She learned quickly, true beauty expresses, it's about us.
The store reflected "it's about us" to make each person who walked through the door feel special! Consequently, women flocked to the store for stylistic clothing, beautifully made-up faces and caring conversation. Within a few years, a struggling boutique became an upscale store in the heart of downtown Detroit. Meta did not live to see her dream reach reality. However, the store remained in business for several years. Today, this website not only bears her name, it represents her spirit also.
